The basic material from which every new Trevisoprogetta design is originated and shapes up is Clay,
processed by manual procedures at each stage of
production.
Ceramica di Treviso constantly enhances and
integrates its production of natural and enamelled
Clay mosaics with new matching sets of colours,
shapes and artistic decorations: all collections, as well
as every single piece, embrace endless shapes and
nuances, able to integrate and match harmoniously
and impressively.
After cutting and moulding the Clay, the tiles are dried
for 3 to 15 days, according to their thickness, before
being placed in the high-temperature kilns. The baking
stage in muffle kilns lasts in general 24 hours: this
long period allows the material to fully amalgamate,
enhancing the technical and aesthetical qualities of
natural Clay. At the end of the cooling period the
mosaics slabs are unloaded into boxes in order to be
forwarded to subsequent processing stages.
Mosaico ToKi of Ceramica di Treviso is sold netmounted,
for easy laying. The sensitive stage of net
gluing is patiently taken upon by skilled staff
controlling every single tile and the general
appearance of their arrangement.
